In a collaborative effort to boost healthcare accessibility in remote regions, dHRC, along with key partners, AKHS, P, and the local governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), developed the Sehat Mand Khandaan mobile application. This innovative mHealth initiative aims to digitally transform the services delivered through the community midwifery (CMW) program, enhancing healthcare delivery in geographically isolated areas of KPK and GB, where traditional government or private healthcare facilities are scarce. The app significantly simplifies data collection and reporting for the provincial health departments, which has been cumbersome and sporadic, given the challenges in collecting paper-based reports from remote areas, marked by severe weather.
